THE GARAGE is always
ready to go. More and more, it is being used by top industry
artists and plenty of other professionals all over the world -
with Dave behind the drums and/or behind the console.
If you would like to have Dave on YOUR recording,
here's how it works:
1. Click
here to fill out a
short form to get things started.
2. Dave will review
your inquiry and, if the project looks like a good fit, will
contact you.
3. After a demo of the proposed song(s) is sent
and all is agreed upon, your audio tracks are sent to Dave on CDs
or DVDs,
or uploaded via the Internet, to be loaded into Dave's Pro Tools HD3 Accel
rig.
4. Dave then records
the drum tracks (if applicable), and sends them back to you
however you desire; raw and unmixed, or with Dave's signature
sound 'burned' into the tracks and, if you like, a complete stereo
drum mix.
about dave's
experience behind the board
Dave has been involved
in the production and mixing process of his own records since his
first solo release, Masterplan, in 1990. Since the
Transition recording of the DWB has been the sole
engineer/producer. Dave also helped mix and produce some Chick
Corea Elektric Band recordings back in the late '80s.
Now, using a full on
HD ACCEL Pro Tools rig, Dave has recorded and mixed his
Perpetual Motion release and edited and mixed 12 live shows
down to the band's recent double live CD. Most recently, he
recorded and mixed the DWB's release, Multiplicity.
Dave
has also mixed many instructional projects, starting with his
Back to Basics videos in 1987, his latest video/DVD series
A Natural Evolution, and his and El Negro's band's segments on
the Drummers Collective 25th Anniversary DVD.
Also, listen to the
sound of his band on the Ultimate Drummers Day video made
'down under' in Australia. It's obvious Dave knows how to get a
great sound!
