To call Brandon
Fields a talented saxophonist would be quite an
understatement. Brandon, who learned the saxophone at the
age of 10 while growing up in Orange County, CA, is a very
energetic and entertaining Jazz saxophonist combines a wide
range of influences and experiences into his own unique
contemporary mainstream style.
He began working
as a freelance musician while still a teenager, and has been
busy ever since. Brandon's first solo album came out under
the Nova label in 1986 to critical acclaim. He has toured
with several successful acts including: George Benson
(1985-86), The Rippingtons (1987-89), Tower of Power (early
1990's), Earth Wind and Fire (1995), and the Dave Weckl
Band. There have been seven other solo albums since,
including his latest, "Fields and Strings," released in late
1999 under the Paras Recording Company, which has been met
with rave reviews.
When he's not in
the recording studio, Brandon Fields stays busy doing live
shows and touring around the world.
